Clear aligners for an open bite and crowding
An adult professional wanted straighter teeth and a more even bite without fixed braces. Treatment combined aligner mechanics with careful attachment planning.

Presentation
The main concerns were visible crowding in the smile zone and a tendency toward an open bite pattern that affected how the front teeth met. Gum health was stable and restorative work was limited to routine fillings.
Plan
Digital scans and photographs were used to simulate tooth movement. The plan included interproximal reduction in selected areas and attachments to improve control of vertical and rotational movements.
The patient was counselled on wearing aligners consistently and on oral hygiene around attachments.
Outcome
Over the planned sequence, alignment improved and the bite closed more evenly in the anterior region. Retention with fixed and removable retainers was discussed to limit relapse.
